Ingredients – Serves 4
- oil plenty 😀. Do not use olive oil
- whole onion
- 1 rabbit whole
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 500ml red wine (cooking red wine)
- 30g gravy powder
- 150g of peas
Equipment
- Meat clever
- chopping board
- chopping knife
- frying pan
- cooking dish
Method
- add plenty of oil (shallow fry) to the cooking pan.
- make sure you have hot water going like the kettle on, for the gravy
- when oil is hot, start frying 1/2 of the pieces of rabbit (at this stage be careful as the oil is hot and start splashing everywere)
- continue frying until it is nice and brown half way add the 1/2 of the red wine
- when it is nicely browned remove the rabbit into the cooking dish
- in the same pan add the rest of the rabbit and staert browning the reminder of the rabbit
- when it is all nice and brown add the rabbit that it is in the cooking dish then add the rest of the wine LOWER HEAT
- add the gravy to the pan simmer for 10 minutes gently heat
- add peas leave 5 minutes switch off
- add all to the cooking dish and LET IT REST IN WARM PLACE BEFORE SERVING. ENJOY!!!😉
