Delicious Rabbit Recipe: Maltese Style

  • oil plenty 😀. Do not use olive oil
  • whole onion
  • 1 rabbit whole
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 500ml red wine (cooking red wine)
  • 30g gravy powder
  • 150g of peas
  • Meat clever
  • chopping board
  • chopping knife
  • frying pan
  1. add plenty of oil (shallow fry) to the cooking pan.
  2. make sure you have hot water going like the kettle on, for the gravy
  3. when oil is hot, start frying 1/2 of the pieces of rabbit (at this stage be careful as the oil is hot and start splashing everywere)
  4. continue frying until it is nice and brown half way add the 1/2 of the red wine
  5. when it is nicely browned remove the rabbit into the cooking dish
  6. in the same pan add the rest of the rabbit and staert browning the reminder of the rabbit
  7. when it is all nice and brown add the rabbit that it is in the cooking dish then add the rest of the wine LOWER HEAT
  8. add the gravy to the pan simmer for 10 minutes gently heat
  9. add peas leave 5 minutes switch off
  10. add all to the cooking dish and LET IT REST IN WARM PLACE BEFORE SERVING. ENJOY!!!😉
