Chicken Caesar Salad

The famous Caesar Salad, if it is done correctly it is full of flavour healthy and packed with freshness

Ingredients for Chicken Caesar Salad Serves 4

  • 4 chicken breast
  • 25g of butter
  • 2 lettuce (cos and little gem)                                                                                              
  • 4 slices of stale bread
  • 100g of parmesan cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 25ml of oil
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary
  • Garlic clove
  • 12 small pieces of anchovies(optional)

For the dressing

  • 240g Mayonnaise
  • 7.5 ml Dijon mustard
  • 2 ml Worcester Sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 45g grated Parmesan
  • 2 small Anchovies

Method

For the Chicken Caesar Salad

  • Put eggs in water and bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Open chicken breast then batt the breast and fry
  • In the meantime, cut the lettuce with your hand and leave in a container with water so they will kind of give them some life
  • Now we can peel the eggs cut them and leave them on the side
  • Cut the bread in chunks pieces and put in a bowl
  • Chop thyme rosemary and add to the bread season well and fry the bread in a frying pan, add a knob or 2 butter at the end then transfer to a tray with a napkin
  • Peel with a peeler the parmesan
  • To assembly together drain and put the lettuce in a bowl add dressing and mix well
  • Put the lettuce in a plate scatter the croutons all around, place the eggs and the chicken dress again and enjoy!!!!!!!!

For the dressing

  • Combine all the ingredients together
